… MasterChef Australia, which for my international readership that might not know of it, is a cooking show where amateur chefs compete in cooking challenges etc.

I admit the show has sucked me in, we have favourites and of course villains but the best part of the show isn’t even on the show!

You see Tracey and I were eating really poorly, same meals over and over, really poor processed junk, yes even vegetarians can eat badly!  Now after watching MasterChef we’ve been …

Although I must admit the more I think about it, the better a show it sounds like.

Yes I know.

I’m an awful blogger, I never write, I never podcast, I leave you all hanging for days on end.

I get that.

I’d apologise but we both have been here before.

But there are reasons, not excuses, but reasons!

Number one reason is the television show Lost.

I promised Lost fan after Lost fan that I would indeed watch their treasured Lost but would do so on my terms and not at the hands of some drug crazed one eyed fighting monkey television programmer.  I even bought the first season on DVD ages ago with the promise of watching it ad free and one after an other.

So with the final season upon us and Twitter so full of spoilers that they should change the name of the microblog to “Super terrific we spoil your tv shows and movies that you want to watch internet thingie” (in all fairness though I doubt that name would catch on) we have embarked on the Lost journey, sacrificing gaming, cleaning and sleep to watch episode after episode.

We’re coming up to the end of season 4 and only have had two or three major spoilers thrown our way (if I unfollow you on Super terrific we spoil your tv shows and movies that you want to watch internet thingie don’t feel too bad, I’ll follow you again after we catch up).

But it must be said that apart from taking time away from the aforementioned sleep etc  it does cut heavily into my blogging time which brings me to my next reasons.

No time for blogging!?!?!

I know.

So I have a new blog called Mashing Buttons that I’ve started with fellow casual gamer Greg and yeah sure the Midnight Movie Club is still going strong (we even made it to some screen on iTunes which was very exciting to be considered new).

But you know I love you though don’t you?

Quit Your Day Job is still the one, I won’t say those other blogs don’t mean anything to me, they’re just different.

Maybe you should start following them too?

Come on don’t be like that, you know you want to.
