What I’m reading: Burning for Revenge - done

June 10th, 2008

Well I’m happy to say that the latest (for me) in the Tomorrow Series only took me a day and a half to plough through.   They are such sweet reads that it is easy to get through them and this one was no exception.   I was surprised though because only one really large event happens in this instalment as opposed to the   several events in the other ones so far (I think anyway, it’s been a while since I read the earlier ones and I may be combining a few in my memory).

I suspect I’m going to start reading the next one as I got that out from the library at the same time, then I’m going to force myself to get through Hidden Empire because it comes highly recommended.

If you are a long time reader you may already know of my predilection with playing cards and using them as bookmarks.   Occasionally I leave one around the city with the site’s address or my email written on them and this time I’m going to leave the King of Hearts in there with a message to come to this page.

If you are reading this because of that card please leave a comment!!   Or send us a photo of the card!!

What I’m reading: Burning For Revenge

June 10th, 2008

Cover of Burning for RevengeSo I found that book that I was looking for and started reading it again, abandoning the Star Trek book I had kinda started reading.   Now I’ve been distracted by book five in the Tomorrow Series by John Marsden.   This was a series I started reading last year and really enjoy them despite their target audience being teens.

It’s cool because the whole invasion of Australia theme, kind of like an Australian Red Dawn.   Actually forget kind of, it is the literary Australian Red Dawn.

It’s cool too because I’ll have the book read in a couple of days and then I only have two more to go.   After that I only have about a thousand other books to read.
