I’m not interested in Mission to Moscow
June 23rd, 2008
A thought crossed my mind as I was reading through the comments on this site that I’ve never seen the last of the Police Academy films. Â Not everyone knows this but there was a seventh Police Academy film called Mission to Moscow (in a lot of the posters the seven is omitted, maybe they were embarrassed maybe they were too busy counting the money they’ve made off the franchise).
So like I said I was thinking about how I haven’t seen Police Academy 7 and I took this thought to its logical conclusion. Â I don’t really care and I probably wouldn’t even watch it even if it was on TV and there was nothing else on.
As a kid it was great when the next Police Academy film was coming out, I particulary remember Police Academy 4, I had the poster for a while on my wall, they were good posters. Â But then they got uninspired, you may say it already was by number four but I personally think, and I know that this is going to sound weird but I think they lost it when Steve Guttenberg left.
Ewww that did sound weird.
Another horrible thought, when do you expect that they’ll realise that it’s out there and they haven’t made any money off of it for a while, the concept I mean? Â Resurrect the series with a new zany cast?
Oh dear. Â Make them stop Mr Guttenberg, make them stop.
