I suspect that my shoes are cooler than yours

Of course if you were to tell me that you have the automatically lacing Nike hi-tops from Back to the Future I may concede it to you.
My shoes are pretty cool though.
Today was the first day that I cracked the seal on the shoes that Tracey got me for Christmas, not for a special occasion or anything but simply that I they deserve to be worn out and about and I don’t believe in leaving things suffocating in their boxes.

If you know me you may have noticed that I have a few Converse shoes in various colours. Well these are so much more comfortable than those. A lot more padding in the sole and structured differently but looking similar. The other cool thing on them is the ‘licence plates’:
