Tracey and I had to choose the music which she would walk down the aisle to, if I remember correctly it wound up being a Ben Harper song although I would be hard pressed remembering the title now, but come on that was like seven years ago!!!
At any rate we were going through several CDs including some specifically wedding sample ones that were from a classical trio you could hire when one piece of music caught my eye/ear.
Ode to Joy from Beethoven’s ninth symphony.
Of course since it was for walking down the isle it was much slower than the standard and very light with flutes etc.
Me: Oh yeah that sounds awesome we should use that!
Tracey: No.
Me: What!? Oh come on that’s good, why not?
Tracey: I am not walking down the isle to what you consider to be the Die Hard theme.
Me: Ok.

Think of the money saved in suits? I mean all I’d be wearing is a dirty singlet and pants, no shoes! Of course I could have taped the ring to my back with xmas tape too. We could have gotten an Alan Rickman impersonator to conduct the ceremony!!
