This is a concept sketch I did over the weekend where I couldn’t get the idea of what it would look like if the spirit of vengeance happened to get stuck with some dude on a vespa.

I always thought the scooter look was cool in a sort of quietly understated way.
I like the idea of: “Yeah, I’m a demonic bounty hunter with a flaming skull for a head, but I’m comfortable with it, I’m mellow and I’m just cruising along…”
In fact, now I think about it, I could certainly use a spiritual Vespa right now.

I think you need to stylise the skeleton face like you’ve stylised the rest of the image…for some reason that hasn’t applied to the head! Or you could go all schmick with the original 60s mod concept and get some twerpy guy on the Vespa complete with foxtails and mirrors… a real metrosexual. That’s the Vespa image. Good idea but the mirrors really make a Vespa…vengeance would be a Rocker on a really big bike!

John - I think he would take a lot of care when parking it too. Instead of just leaping off it and chasing the evildoer - he would find a nice place to park in the shade and get off it sensibly, pop the keys in his pocket etc.
