sarge.com.au is mine for another 2 years

March 1st, 2007

Domain name renewals always seem to sneak up on me. I get the notice that there are 30 days left and then I forget about all about it until the 5 day mark. So today I renewed after shuffling money around on credit cards etc (man I’ve got to get a proper job). Now the domain name is mine until 2009. 2009 that’s amazing that we’re already planning for that!

On the home front I’m back studying externally and I’m giving it a red hot go this time around. I’ve just started the fall of the Roman empire and text image and culture (two subjects not the one combined). I love when you are reading a lecture and then mid way through the point they’re trying to get across clicks and you feel slightly smarter for it.

Becca sent me her list of movie titles for our crossover event and let me tell you I thought my movie titles were obscure! This is going to be some crossover!

Crossover event of the year coming march 5

With the passing of February I’ve been looking over the stats and I’m really happy that all of my blogs

have been performing better than previous months. I’m especially happy with Pop Culture Heroines as it got 1490 unique visitors in it’s first full month. That’s without putting it on any of the blog exchanges but rather using communities to promote it like Mybloglog - which I’ve got to say has been a really good experience. Also we don’t have a blogroll on PCH so if you want to share in some of the traffic love you have to either leave a comment or write a post!

This month I’m going to be shifting m

y focus a little to get Crypt Hunter performing even better than it has been (it got more visits than ever last month). So I’ll be making sure there’s a more consistent posting which I admit there hasn’t been of late. Good old Memphis takes his time when it comes to these things

but I’ll be lighting a fire under him to get those training sessions out there!

I’ll also be making a real effort to find employment and at this stage it looks like I’ll be staying in the Brisbane area for the time being despite the rental market being awful. So if you are a business or a member of a band or an author or anything like that who would like to expand your online presence into something a little more web 2.0 please contact me! That goes world wide too there is no reason I can’t help you out even on the other side of the globe!
