The Silver Surfer

I’ve never been a huge fan of the Surfer, I can’t really understand what he does each month in his comic series (although I don’t think that exists anymore).
I’ll probably go over this with the white highlights later on but for now here’s the idea of it

reading up on him a bit ..it seems like he can kinda do what he wants..being all that powerful. Explore planets, kick the villains butt (why did he stop destroying stuff..). Or just get a burger at the local shop.

I think I’ve only ever read one or two of his comics, he seemed pretty upset about all the death on his hands and spent a lot of time standing on his board considering stuff.
Visually though he looks cool.

Yeah I feel pretty much the same way, he looks interesting but I probably wouldn’t read his series (should give it a go though I suppose)

You did the drawing? Amazing.. ! Nice touch. I’m sure the outcome will look wonderful. Is it just me, or this image just reminds me of The Phantom, if you give him the purple/black eye mask. =)

I certainly did.
The dark lines around his eyes which is a very classic Kirby look for the Surfer does remind me of the Phantom.
I think the Phantom has a very classic square jawed look - which I think is cool so I should draw him one day.

The only time I’ve seen the Surfer is in FF2… seemed like a pretty cool guy, aside from the whole snuff out the earth thing, and he had an excuse for that.
