Thunder-Monkey doesn’t like people bumming in his toilet

So I’ve watched the first two episodes of No Heroics and I’ll admit that I’m slightly torn. I mean it is a great idea, a hilarious idea and there certainly are hilarious bits in there but on the other hand there are problems too.
Two episodes may not be enough to judge this completely yet and I liked the second one more than the first and I’ve been told that it takes a couple of episodes to get better. The problem is that I think the idea of the episodes may actually be funnier than the actual execution.
Take the second episode, two concepts that I don’t think really spoil anything (if anything it may make you want to watch it):
- Superhero has to ride the bus along with the ‘normals’ to get to a drug bust.
- Two heroes go to appearance at a superhero fan club meeting full of the most pathetic of fanboys.

I agree with everything you say - which is why I found it such a disappointment. So much potential there, yet it just didn’t bring the funny.
