Quit Your Day Job: Two year anniversary

Wow.

It’s now officially more than two years since I first started Quit Your Day Job (my very first post was about the Sarah Connor Chronicles).

This site has honestly been an absolute delight to write and made more so by you guys, especially those who leave comments (come on you lurkers - why not say hi!).

Congratulations!

I can’t believe I totally forgot that I just passed my 1st anniversary working online a few days ago

still need to learn a lot from people like you as I find my “adventure” is not smooth enough lately

LOL I missed the one year anniversary too, it wasn’t until about a week and a half later that I realised.

That’s odd - I wrote a reply to this and then my stupid two year old blog deleted it.

Anyway what I wrote was about being lucky to have been reading a lot of blogs that have had staying power.

I wrote more and better originally

Happy Anniversary. You’ve done a great job with this blog. I missed my first and second year anniversaries. It was about mid-way into the first year before I realized it, and figured I’d catch up on the 2 year post. Missed that one too. Maybe this year I’ll pull it together.

I watched Iron Man yesterday for the first time and OMG that was good. Love your blog, love the Iron Man stuff a whole lot more now.

Also watched the latest Indiana Jones movie and dear god it was awful, so I watched Iron Man again.

A serve of Iron Man will nearly always wash the horrible taste of the stupid “weighs as light as a feather” Crystal Skull.

That Iron Man film though only gets better on repeat viewings.
