I saw something about this film before. Intriguing, yes. But nowhere near enough to get me into a theater. Seems like a decent rental, though.

I doubt it will even get a release here in Australia, the best I could hope for is maybe a DVD release 12 months from now or a trip to Cousin Larry’s in a month that I have visited Larry so often.

I’m really interested because he was huge in film in my teenage years and so there’s that connection for me, plus I’ve only ever seen him portrayed as a jerk in real life so it would be good to see a little humility.

Those scenes in the court room look quite confrontational, I wonder how much of it is based on fact. It could always be a bit like ‘8 mile’ - loosely based on reality.
