Ghostbusters 3 - OMG, OMG, OMG

Well, y’know, two sharp young writers are purported to be writing the sequel, the third movie now. If I could interest Seth [Rogen] and Judd [Apatow] to be part of it, that would be an absolute dream.
That’s a quote from Dan Aykroyd when he was asked about GB3. Â
Ok as Slashfilm suggest there is no way that Aykroyd doesn’t know what’s going on with GB3, I’m fairly certain he and Ramis retain the rights or something like that. Â So it is safe to say that there are two writers actually working on the script, the fact that he mentions Rogen and Apatow by name makes me want to do a happy little fanboy dance.
Ok I’m doing it right now.
But only a little, I’ll save the full dance when I read that it is confirmed that they are working on Ghostbusters 3: The Next Generation.

If my fancy iPhone had a direct line to Dan, Dan would get no sleep as I demanded action on the Ghostbusters 3 movie. Oh and I’d want an Ectomobile but I’m not sure he has any to give.

LOL ‘Who ya gonna call’ never actually appears as a line in the film, it’s only in the song - does appear in the second one though.
You probably didn’t need to know that.

There has been more news over on slashfilm about the identities, I also remembered Harold Ramis was in Knocked Up so he knows the Apatow/Rogen guys…
I feel more fanboy twitching coming…
