Still under broadband speed cap. Â It sucks.
Here is a shoot of the flyby taken from my iPhone:

Nice shot. I didn’t go to Riverfire this year, but I definitely heard the flyby (with the rest of Brisbane).
Riverfire itself is amazing. Getting home afterwards is a major pain

Yeah we didn’t go in ourselves, this was taken as an afterthought on Tracey’s Dad’s back deck. Actually I was trying to use Tracey’s phone to film it but couldn’t work the bloody thing out in the dark.

Flyby is a (music) festival? For a moment I thought you were talking about the F111 jet fighter
Have you seen the double The Fringe episode yet?
Arjans last blog post..The Fringe (premiere)

You’re right, the flyby is a F111 performing a ‘dump and burn’. It’s one of the highlights of a Brisbane event called Riverfire, where lots and lots of fireworks are released from river barges and 3 bridges around the city centre. If you’re keen to learn more, please go to the QBE Riverfire information page of the Brisbane River Festival.

Yeah sorry I wasn’t more descriptive but my internet connection has been capped for a couple of days and anything ‘online’ was just painful.
I think Ian’s probably explained this all in his reply.
With Fringe I saw it a while ago: I’ll put it out there, Fringe is excellent - from the title of the post you can guess I liked it
