Now You Can Have Made Up Embarrassing Photos From High School!

August 26th, 2008

Someone over at Posterous (yes I will stop going on about that site one of these days) posted a picture of a real life poster advertising the website Year Book Yourself.

The run down of the site is that you upload a photo and then the site (along with a little help from yourself) can show you what you would have looked like if you had graduated in a bunch of different years.

It is actually as bad as it sounds.

Enjoy:

You can go back a little further and make yourself look like Corey Feldman:

And my absolute favourite because it reminds me of Henry Swanson from Big Trouble in Little China:

Oh and by the way I posted a new drawing at Posterous :)

The scary thing was that my photograph from the year that I graduated was actually like me, long hair and all.

LOL there was only one photo that I know of in existence of me with longer hair (I’m not going to say mullet but it certainly might have been in that realm) and I’m reasonably certain I have that photo in storage. Like the Ark from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

hmm I think I already have a large collection of embarrassing pics of myself without some site having to make them up ;)
Might have a go at it though…

    It’s a semi interesting diversion :)
Usually when people do these kinds of things they have a chuckle and then leave it at that, me I share with the world.

Yeah those turtle-necks are pretty devastating, I do hope that they make a come back :)

Am I just being impatient? I’m feeding it a 64kb file and I’ve been staring at a circling dot for 10 minutes.

I figure this site is like rubber-necking at an accident. The file I’m feeding it already qualifies as an accident though, so I guess that makes the end result like watching somebody beat up an accident victim. I can’t wait….

How’d you go with this after all, I didn’t have any problems but then maybe there are more people on there now!

I actually still haven’t gotten it to work. It’s weird. I’ve tried it in both IE and FF. Maybe there’s something wrong with my file.

LOVE the 1976 version!!! And the 1989? Looks scarily like my DH when I met him (but without the glasses). LOL.

Lol 1990! I’m with Arjan. My high school picture senior was bad enough. I was in a rebellious kick and had a bored, ticked off look on my face. My parents should have slapped me, I was such a tool. And in the early 90’s (I think) I even had a rat’s tail, which is like 10 times worse than a mullet lol.

Anyway, Lee, are these all your drawings? I notice the signatures are different. They’re awesome!

Hi Tins, yup they certainly are mine - I recently changed drawing signatures.

Yes a rat’s tail is so much worse :)
