Venom revealed…

Empire online have revealed some of the first pictures of Venom from Spiderman 3… well sort of.
Medicom Toys released photos of their Venom collectible being produced for the film that will be released later this year. So far we’ve only seen the slightest blurry glance of the character.
Straight away I know that the updated design is right. Despite the fact that part of me is screaming where is the white spider on his chest!!??!! This design suits the Spiderman movies. I can believe this.
It’s a little like when people complained about the X-Men costumes and the only response that was given was also the most sane - have you seen bright yellow spandex on the big screen?
The character as he appears in the comic books, whilst looking spactacular just wouldn’t fit in. Here in this design you can see the jeans and jumper underneath the symbiont skin.
The most important part though is that the head is the same. I really believe that the face is the most important part of Venom and there’s no mistaking that this is Venom!
Oh man I can’t wait for this film. Every little bit of information only hypes me up more for it. Better than 1 and 2? I think it’s possible!

I know!! Everything about this film sounds like it’s going to rock. It is a damn good year for us comic book movie fans!!!

I loved the movie, even skipped school to see it. Umm though there was one problem with Venom I can’t get over, whay does Venom have the spiderman webs on his costume? And i was hoping that when he talked he’d have had a deeper symbiotic voice, like deep and evil.
