iPhone bills push ring binder sales through roof

August 10th, 2008

If you recently bought an iPhone in Australia and you like to hang on to your bills for records then you may need to be investing in some more ring binders as I was reading that the bills can, depending upon your usage go up to something like 100 pages or so.

I personally feel a little inadequate as my bill was only nine pages long, I think I’ll opt for the email bills in the future because I’m concerned if I do start using the internet a lot more (like I have this month) the poor postman may do his back in carrying the dictionary sized bill.

Apparently the Optus bills list every page you visited, I can’t confirm that as I don’t really read my bill that closely.   I should, I know.

I think if you want to be a green carbon neutral Optus iPhone user you may want to start planting trees now, just don’t search the internet on your iPhone looking for which trees to plant because it will become a vicious circle.

I’ve got to work out how to organise the digital bills because it costs $2 to get the paper ones, the only problem is if I have to call them it will suck because Optus have pretty much the worst call centres.

I might leave it though this month just to see how ridiculously long the bill will be.
