24: Exile

July 23rd, 2008

Is it wrong that when I watched this I pretty much didn’t see anything until Jack showed up on screen and started laying out some pain?

I know the second half of Season Six 24 left a lot to be desired, I mean I expected that a cougar would show up sometime towards the end.   Actually I think I would have only been more disappointed if Jack had climbed into a fridge to survive a nuclear blast, but that would have been way too stupid. ;)

So what do you all think?   Are you ready to give Jack another chance as he single handedly sorts out Africa’s problems?

Jack Bauer doesn’t need a fridge - he’s survived two nuclear explosions so far just by running away.

As long as it all doesn’t turn out to be a plot by Jack’s second cousin twice removed, I’ll be there.

somehow I never got around to start with 24 from S1..but watched (and liked) random episodes of it on tv. Might check this one out, but probably not in the cinema.

Rol he probably thinks Indy was a bit weak-arse for getting into the fridge in the first place, Jack probably would have sat and watched himself some TV.

I do expect though to find out that Jack was adopted and Donald Sutherland show up as his real father though, I can do without the family stuff myself.

It is cool that Tony’s back!

Arjan - this might be a good place to start since it is a prelude to the next season. It’s a tv movie anyway so no need to head off to the cinema!

24 was on waterskis and headed for the ramp last season… we’ll see if it jumps the shark this season.

MC - had they said that the kid was Jack’s then I would declared a shark warning. :)

Oh Ian your life would be so much more fulfilled if you let a little Jack in.

Jack makes the bad men cry.

I just can’t quit Jack Bauer. He completes me, in a manly, rip your head off and drop punt it through the big sticks from 70metres out kind of way.
