They released some more posters for the upcoming Punisher: War Zone movie and whilst I was pretty much as far as I could possibly be from impressed over the trailer I can’t say I’m that taken with the Batman ads but I still expect it to be a pretty awesome film.
So maybe the Punisher will be everything the director says it is.
I hope so.
I can be convinced.
Really.
Anyway take a look at the poster and let me know what your thoughts are (on the movie or the poster, I could care less about your opinion on the lamest Transformer ever).
In case you are wondering about the lamest Transformer I’m going to have to go with Wheelie.

We need more skull-head in that poster. It’s not distinctive enough.

Rol - that would be one of my complaints, the idea of the skull is to distract someone shooting at him and divert attention from his face to the more heavily armoured vest.
There was another poster that has the skull logo in bullet holes.

atm it looks more like a poster for a Blade movie.
I don’t expect an awesome movie, more like a tuesday night action movie.

Arjan - yeah that’s what I’m afraid of, Punisher is a brilliant character so it’s a shame more people aren’t going to be inspired by an ‘awesome’ film to check out more Punisher stuff.

Sir Jorge - the first version? Really? No skull? Actually at the time when it came out I must admit I didn’t mind it as an action film.
I really liked the second version though.

Look, I’m still going to see it, because I’m contractually obliged to check out all comic book movies, but I’m not all that hopeful. All I ask is that this is not another Ghost Rider fiasco… that’s right, FIASCO!

Mmmmm that’s a pretty big word you’re throwing around there, fiasco…
I actually do not mind the Ghost Rider movie because I had such low expectations that I was semi pleased with it.
I bought it, that’s right, it’s on my shelf, of course it may not be opened yet.
