Just a quick note about the Top 100 Australian Blog index

I forgot to mention this last week when I found out but Quit Your Day Job made the Top 100 Australian Blog Index for the second month in a row which I’m pretty happy about as you could imagine. This month we’ve actually crawled our way up a couple of spots and now sit at 78 which is simply awesome.

I did want to send a little kudos Meg’s way though and not because I’m on the list (I’ve known Meg for a while, ‘virtually’ that is - through mybloglog I believe). Meg puts the Top 100 Australian Blog Index together each month and has come under a little criticism from some people who possibly haven’t ranked as highly as they’d like.

So thanks Meg, I think you’ve been doing a top job and those whinging others are nobjockeys!

nobjockeys… that sounds vaguely derogatory to a non-Australian. I’m sure it means something uplifting and helpful to the community, though…

To be fair, there are only 125 computers in Australia, at least, that’s what i read on the inTerWebz.

LOL nobjockeys is not a term to describe non-Australians there are plenty of nobjockeys who are Australian and in this case they are the ones I’m referring to.

I wouldn’t dig too deeply into the word’s meaning, I doubt the Maquarie Dictionary will be picking it up anytime soon.

Allen - the problem is that the interweb tube coming over here keeps filling with water, I hear New Zealand have a similar problem.
