High School Musical 3 poster guy freaked me out
June 23rd, 2008
So whilst we were waiting to go in to see Hulk the other day I was left on my own for a couple of minutes and happened to be staring absently at the life size cut out for High School Musical 3 which features what I guess is the whole cast.
Embarrassingly I was staring at one of the cast and his bloody eyes moved and his face turned into an expression of discomfort like some guy in a cinema lobby is staring at you.
I jumped.
I don’t think I said ‘eeeek!’ but it is very possible.
The guy also jumped , he possibly said ‘eeek’ and then turned away. Leaving me slightly red faced that I hadn’t really noticed that a real life person was standing next to the cut out.
It’s not my fault, he was around the same age as the cast.
To illustrate my point I have re enacted the scenario using Dr Doom as a stand in for the kid that I freaked out in the lobby:

He’s lucky I didn’t smack him one right there, how dare he stand next to cut outs of Disney stars not moving and stuff. There should be signs on those things stating how many people actually appear in this poster.
Startled the bejeezus out of me.
Bloody kids.

I am sure there is a security tape of that somewhere.

ROFL…….
Reminds me of the story Mother told me….
She and Dad married and lived in England. They visited Madame Tusaud’s (sp) Wax Museum. Mother was marvelling at the realness of the models and stuck her face in one and said to Dad “Aren’t they lifelike?” The man moved, lol.
BTW Tag, you’re it.

That must’ve been some life-like cut-out!
I was going to throw an old man joke at the “bloody kids” comment, but I’ll let it slide. :-p

MC I sincerely hope not! I don’t want to grow up to be a famous olympic gymnast only to have the National Enquirer dig that up!

High School Musical 3 is going to be Amy’s first ever film she sees in the cinema.
Hopefully
We’ve tried taking her before but she freaks out at the noise and the dark. We’re hoping that the lure of a new high school musical will be enough to convince her to stay longer than two minutes

ROFLOL - I was reading this and wondering what you were on Lee.
I’m so “out of the loop” I didn’t even know there was a High School Musical 3. At the rate they’re going, they’ll overtake Police Academy!!!

Widdle Shamrock - I think I’d much prefer to be fooled by one of those wax statues! I’d love to visit one of those was museums, I haven’t even been to the one on the Gold Coast.

Ian, well they ARE Disney actors… nah that was too easy and probably unfair.

Dan - that should be a fairly bright colourful film with a lot of kids her own age in the audience so it should be pretty good and hopefully she’ll get through her popcorn!
You will report on this I hope.

I got to tell you Lightening, I had no idea that there was a third one and that it was going to the cinema, I have avoided the second one which I guess went to DVD?
That’s why I was a little shocked because I only knew a couple of the actors and this kid fit right in and I was concentrating on the fact that I was surprised that there was a third film.
