Two photos that make me smile and one that makes me weep
June 12th, 2008
Apparently the Licensing International Expo 2008 has been on and one of the attendees has posted photos from the event (I’d never heard of it before today to be honest). The first two photos make me grin like a ten year old that just saw one of the greatest films ever:

The car still looks awesome, it just does, I’m so going to build one of these one day.

Mr Stay Puff is happy, I’m happy, everyone should be happy knowing that Ghostbuster stuff is coming, even if it is just an awesome video game.
And now onto something much more unpleasent, horrible, I wish it was April 1st so I could pretend it isn’t happening.

There is no reason to remake Robocop!!! Please just do a movie with Robocop in it and not a re imagining!!!!!
The original photos can be found at Ray’s gallery.
And I first saw the Robocop 2010 poster over at Samuraifrog’s blog.

Speaking of sacrilegious remakes, have you seen the trailers for the remake of Speed Racer in which they haven’t just changed the animation, they’ve removed it and made it a live-action shocker with REAL PEOPLE! It’s going to be Thunderbirds all over again…

I know it looks horrible, I saw a Spanish language version of it (don’t ask) and whilst I couldn’t understand it, the film just looks sickly sweet.
Don’t get me started on Thunderbirds.

Can’t we ask?
ok. I won’t. *sighs dramatically with disapointment*
That would have been so cool to go to an expo to see Ghostbusters stuff!

Bettina - I’ll email you!
I would love to see the Ecto 1 up close - it has to be a fan reproduction though because the real one is rotting in a backlot somewhere

I love the Ghostbusters as well. I have watched the movie again about 6 months back and it was still great entertainment.
On the other hand I “The Golden Child” nowadays seems rather dated and Eddie Murphy even seemed to be talking relatively slowly compared to other actors nowadays.
