Well this isn’t exactly correct but I was listening to a lecture tonight about mythology (I’m still studying externally and the new term begins tomorrow - just studying Myth in the Ancient World this semester - A LOT OF READING!) and something struck me as strange, strange and familiar.
I’ve of course read the creation myths around the Greeks and their gods before, a long time ago, but I still remember a fair amount of it. But the myth I was listening to sounded really familiar, in the sense that I’ve recently heard it or read it.
About half an hour in it hits me.
God of War II
The Zeus legend was retold in one of the cut scenes in God of War II! Semi well too I might add (well that little part anyway).
Now I’m just waiting to see how Sonic the Hedgehog may help me!
