Hellboy concept art

I love concept art, I think if I had to pick a career as a dream job it would be concept artist.  I love the idea of sketching something out and then seeing it in the flesh.  The good people at Universal sent me some links to some Hellboy stuff (in a very cool viral way - sorry Iron Man!) so I thought it might be cool to show some concept art from the movie and a photo of the actual end product.  In Hellboy II: The Golden Army he has a new weapon, the Big Baby:

And of course the actual movie photo:

  2. Ooooh very cool. Now I want a big gun like that.

I was looking at some Hulk Smash Hands toys on Amazon the other day - you are leading me down the path of evil.

  3. Arjan - that is a pretty bloody awesome site that Rob’s got there! Really clever looking template. I guess the baby is like one of those gas gun things from Terminator 2 so maybe the recoil isn’t as bad as we imagine.

  4. Marita - give into the evil, or the good in this regard! There’s a guy at work who I’m slowly bringing over to the comic book side, he bought his very first comic from the comic shop… I was so proud, it was an Avengers one.

  5. Well I have been drawn into all the comic book quizzes on facebook, but then they don’t cost as much as they toys
