Captain America casting rumour
After the success of Iron Man Marvel has announced that Captain America is now on the cards and Cinema Blend is reporting that the front runner to play Cap is Matthew McConaughey.

This rumour was going round a few years back too. I’ve not got a problem with it - he’s got the right square-jawed blandness the character needs… but he must be getting on a bit now, and I thought they were looking for someone younger.
That said, he’d fit well with RDjr’s Iron Man.

Rol - I don’t have a problem with his age, especially when you line him up against Robert Downey Jr and Edward Norton. What a cool cast for Avengers!
I’m just thinking of him delivering some of those “yes Ma’am” kind of lines. They’re going to have to make it pretty bloody good though to be popular outside the USA.
