Yay for importing memorabilia!
We tried to get the plush DRDs from Farscape for ages here in Australia with absolutely no luck at all. We had them ordered through a pop culture specialist place here that will remain nameless as in the past we’ve done well with them and hope to again. But with our last couple of orders they really dropped the ball which included not getting my DRDs.
So we went directly to an overseas supplier and they arrived today:
Yes and next to me is the life size plush Dominar Rygel XVI. I also have a smaller one (not shown) that we got before we knew of the life sized one. The reason why they are still in plastic is obviously to protect them at this stage until we move when we will release them from their plastic shrouds.
Oh and it is very cool that the webisodes are coming!!!! Mentioned now on Scifi.com and Henson’s official site. One of the best scifi shows ever.

It occurs to me that my Daughters 5th birthday on the 1st of May and she *needs* a plush DRD for her birthday. This is the child who used to call all women in black leather coats Vala and if she say a man in a black leather coat he was John Crichton. So of course she needs it.

I have no idea what DRDs are or who Dominar Rygel XVI is, but I’m glad you managed to track down some stuff you really wanted.

I’ve had my glasses for (oh shit) nearly 18 years now. (when did I get so old?), so I’m a bit more used to them now

I got contactlenses for 7 years now, before that I had glasses for 7 years. I still need to get a new pair of glasses though, for when I don’t have my contacts in yet..

I am drooling over those awesome toys!!!! They had some pretty cool Farscape collectibles. The only one I ever got was the Harvey action figure with hawaiin shirt and martini glass. Lots of fun!

Becca - Scorpius/Harvey is a hard collectible to get especially outside of the U.S. - I remember the same style of Mambo shirt that he wears in the series went for a fortune on eBay a couple of weeks ago. Actually now that I read what I’ve written do you guys know what Mambo shirts are?

LOL I can confirm that he does not, I poked and prodded him through the plastic and nothing seemed to release although I had concerns that the plastic bag would fill up and float around the room… although how cool would that be!?!
