New Iron Man trailer and poster!
March 12th, 2008
I think the makers of Iron Man are just trying to make my brain burst out of the side of my head in a ‘I can’t wait for this freaking movie because it looks dang awesome‘ seizure. Maybe I should start a support group? Maybe you should stop reading this drivel and behold the best trailer so far and an awesome poster!!!

I’m a little jittery with joy because it looks like his house is like the one in the late 90s from the comic book.
“How about we throw in a little hot rod red” Um dude! AWESOME.

Looks pretty cool, but so did phantom menace. Keep a hold of your expectations or they will be so high that they are dashed, no matter how good the film ends up being.
Just saying is all

Any movie that can confidently use ACDC in the soundtrack has erned my $15. Hell, I’ll pay the $30 to see it in the super-cool cinema with the reclining armchairs!
And you’re right again Lee (I detect a pattern here), The producer’s couldn’t have picked a more awsome actor to play Tony Stark than Robert Downey Jr.
So, is it May yet?….. how about now?…… now? Man, this waiting is going to do me in!

Like you, I can’t wait. Almost perfect casting (RDJr - yay! Jeff Bridges - double yay! Gwyneth - boo! Red-headed Gwyneth… slightly less boo. As long as Chris Martin isn’t on the soundtrack) and what appears to be a very faithful adaptation to boot. Can’t wait.
What do you make of the first Ed Norton Hulk trailer?

Ian - so far the soundtracks for the trailers have been cool - using Iron Man from Sabbath is just so plain obvious not to use it would be stupid. I only hope we get the film here at the same time as the US.

Shamrock - it will do wonders for your marriage!! I’m pretty certain Dr Phil is recommending couple to go and experience the awesomeness of Iron Man (don’t hold that against the film!)

Rol - Coldplay on the Iron Man soundtrack would not be cool, repeat that NOT COOL.
It does appear to be very faithful and well researched which adds to the whole thing for me - think about the Dolph Lundren Punisher (ack!)
Will write about Incredible Hulk either today or tomorrow - can say though even though I’m not a huge Hulk fan this movie looks like it may change my mind!!

I love all the comic book movies that have been coming out lately. Cant wait for the new Hell Boy.
I went to the movies last weekend and saw Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk.
What a treat to see two movies like that when I used to collect comics as a kid and wanted to draw comics for a living.
At with batman coming out this summer too, wow.
Wonder if they are going to make captain america, but do it proper like this time

From what I’ve read, they have been talking about making a Captain America movie but they can’t decide which version to use- the one where he was a gungho veteran of WWII or the disillusioned vet of Vietnam.
Personally, I was more of a DC Comics fan- mostly Batman and some Superman and Justice League.
