That’s it MyBlogLog

For the forth time now Mybloglog has logged me out and I can’t remember the stupid Yahoo ID thingy that they forced onto me when they sold themselves to Yahoo. I never wanted another login somewhere, I certainly didn’t want one which is so bloody hard to get my password from that it causes me to finally say that this is it - I’m uninstalling the plugin and will no longer visit the place.

See I have a vague idea what my username is but both passwords that I suspect I’ve used don’t work. So I’ve gone in and tried to get them to send me my password.

‘Oh I’m sorry some of your credentials must be wrong’

If I knew what the bloody credentials were I wouldn’t need to be trying to get the password!!?? Why can’t it be like every other site that sends you your password to the registered email address!?!?!?

So now I’m moving completely to BlogCatalog even though it seems to have issues with my feed and doesn’t update my listing. At least I can log into it!!!

  1. That’s it Lee, vote with your feet and make them pay!

  2. I’m really bad with registering stuff so I keep almost every registering e-mail I’ve ever got. So please don’t hack my mail..or you wíll control my life.
    Thank you.

Arjan’s last blog post..The Wire All seasons and episodes

  3. Ian - I wish I had made the break earlier when they first locked me out and forced me to get a yahoo ID

  4. Arjan I did that for a bit and then discovered that I don’t actually have any details for my Yahoo ID and it is impossible to retrieve them - this is a lesson for all those people requiring logins - allow people to retrieve easily (securely but easily).
