I had really wanted today to be the final issue of Thoughts of a Storm Trooper as it would have been cool to finish this up on my birthday. These were all written months ago in a surge of inspiration and organisation and I admit to considering running a couple of double features just to line it up.
But birthdays aside I thought I owed it to the series which has been running for over two years now to see it out properly.
It’s so odd to think that it’ll all be over in two weeks time.
Loving all of these mate. Just went back through them all and had another read. Will be a shame, well from my perspective to see them end.
You should try and end them on May the 4th…International Star Wars Day.
Oh…by the way if you want to see the troopers from the 501st Redback Garrison we will be helping out on Starlight day this Friday the 4th. I believe we will be on the corner of Creek and Queen. Drop in and say hi!
Steve I am so going to come and check out the troops Friday -- could you let me know what time approx and if the location changes because I’m going to come and see you guys!!!
Lee we are going to be there from around 7am-9am. We have to meet at Post Office Square first then move to the location at Queen & Creek.
If anything changes I will post here, be good to meet you. I might even bust out the Fett costume for the day.

Just a bit of an update.
We are still doing Starlight Day and International Star Wars Day at Cnr Queen & Creek and also out in front of the GPO. All between 7 -- 9am Friday May the 4th.
Also for those early birds, Channel 10 has requested us for a live cross from the Queen Street Mall from 6am.
Going to be there around 7:30!!
That would be the one just below the main port? A question: What was the main port for?

I appreciated the fact that it motivated me to get the graphics tablet out and blow the dust off it to do the card!
Not sure what this says about my geek cred, but it took me a while to get it*. However, “get it” I did. Love it.
* If you’re a real geek, the fact that I took so long means I have no geek cred.
