Man it really must have been fun as an extra in those Storm Trooper outfits, when you’re at home with the kids as long as you can verify that you were indeed an extra on Star Wars you could lay claim to be in any scene. A fun game with dad at home whilst watching Star Wars:

I do that with my boys when we look at photos of events we have attended..there I am…oh…and me again. But they are getting smarter and now can start to tell who is who in the zoo
When I first started with the 501st I couldn’t tell anyone apart, I had to go up and say ‘whos in there?’. Now I can pretty much all the stormtroopers apart…just takes time and a good eye.
A mate of mine was an extra in Quest for Fire. He said that his vision was so impaired with the costume that he was never sure where the camera was at any time, so he now can’t point out anyone in particular and say ‘That is me’.
He was also in war movie from the late 60′s and you can see that it’s him, but I can’t remember which film that was right now. He got to be shot and fall down a set of stairs.
