As I continue to play SingStar every Friday night I’m being reminded more and more of some truly awesome music videos which of course I want to share with you guys, my blog peeps. I don’t tend to talk about music that much here because frankly I’ve never been very musically minded, I can direct you to at least three blogs who’s opinions on music I more than respect and are frequently impressed by and could never hope to match.
Also I’m a horrible, tone deaf singer.
But I still appreciate music, but being more visual I think I really appreciate an awesome music video. Therefore I give you The Darkness:
Now I have a hard time working out what I love the most about this video! Is it:
- the way the guitar drops from the hole in the ceiling?
- the lightning bolts coming out of the guitars when fighting the giant space squid?
- the wall of amps?
- or the mind blowingly awesome thumbs up at the end?
Obviously the video would appeal to a guy who drew this:
So who digs this music video?!?
We should start a thing where we share an awesome music video each Saturday! You know what? Just did! If you do post a music video on your blog to share drop a link in the comments!! Remember the song doesn’t have to be great but the video has to be awesome!!

I believe you were just bribed by the Startrekkism/80s space theme in this video.
I like the weirdness in the clip though..although the glamrock outfits give me the creeps.
I'll make a short update in a sec. I realized I don't have time this weekend to finally update the looks of my blog, but I could squeeze out a post at dutchnid.
Well obviously the level of science fiction related material does help a music video in my case
I didn't know you were looking at redesigns for your blogs – we have to get you posting about soundtracks again man, there is a serious lack of soundtrack related material in my feedreader!!

As for soundtracks, indeed. I do have a draft in the works though, even though it's only a link-post. There will be new posts.
