• I don't think I have played any movie related game (where the game was made áfter the movie).
The other way around is the same most of the time, I haven't seen the movie Max Payne, but I heard it's not all that good to say the least.

Sometimes a movie can match its video game origins, Mortal Kombat is a good example of this and I actually didn't hate Hitman... I don't think I loved it either though.

    Be Afraid. Be very afraid.

Granted, I heard good things about the game that accompanied the Wolverine movie (word of mouth, not reviews), so you never can tell.

Actually I heard good enough things about the Wolverine game that I did indeed pick up a pre-owned copy to check out (I just haven't yet) - I might wait for this to be released and reviewed before pre-ordering this one as it looks the same as the last one but with War Machine.

See, my thoughts on that is you can afford to wait... it isn't like it is some niche RPG or something... if you want a copy of it if it is well-reviewed, well, it will be around.

I wouldn't hold my breath though. History is against you.

Oh I shall certainly wait on this one - I want to play the demo first.
