The reason why I first changed the comment system over to Disqus a while back was to try and foster a bit of community around the comments and the posts and over on Twitter and Facebook etc.
Now some of you have disliked the comment system and for valid reasons, fortunately you’ve generally stuck with it and I really appreciate that. Others quite like the system which is the party that I include myself. So for the first group I apologise if you thought for a second that I’d seen the light and was uninstalling, I haven’t, I won’t be for the time being.
I do like Disqus and I find it a really easy system to work with but there is another feature that I knew about but didn’t really think about until last night when I clicked Arjan’s name by accident and discovered that Arjan will forever be known as that Dutch guy who liked TMNT 2:
I don’t know if I would claim those comments either.
I’m kidding of course because as we all know (well as some of us might) Arjan is quite proud of his TMNT2 loving status.

well thanks for the tears in my eyes from laughing out loud here haha.
I think I saw it once before when I accidentily clicked on my name …and thought..hmm I think Lee gave me that name on time, why does it pop up now
It's not completely fair though because after re-watching tmnt2 I had to partly agree with you on it. Even though I still like the idea of #2, it's just the high amount of sillyness that kills the movie for me (although the dancefloor scene is just classic..oh gawd there I go again)
TDGWLTMNT2? OMG! ROTFL!
Disqus is the only comments system which allows just that; community. And allows people to reply to comments, as opposed to the other system, where it relies on faith alone that the commenter will return to see if there are any replies. Boo! So.. that's just my 2 cents!
