that's why you should always bring your TAS-71! Always.

LOL – I know! it's hard to believe he would go out without such a thing – shoddy writing on my behalf ;)

is the TAS-71 anything like the TVC-15? Are all of these pages a standard size? A 'zine printing might be in order…

My only critique is that your word balloons need a lot of work. The ovals should be 'squashed' rather than elliptic so that your text will fit better. Since you're now heavy into making comics, you should head to your local book store and get Scott McCloud's 'Making Comics'. He's got a good section on word balloons (and other stuff, of course).

Also, I looked again and am now wondering if the panels would work better if Fish-man was on the left and Abe was on the right; since Abe is reacting to Fish-Man's laughter in FM's first panel.

I'm also not a fan of the dropshadow on the balloons, but that's just nitpicking (BUT, i only nitpick on art that is worth looking at for a long time!)

In order of your questions, nothing so extreme and all standard size :)

The word balloons at this stage are quickly knocked out using fireworks so they are quite limited, I'm going to go and sort that out for the next series but for some continuity I'll see the Fish-man's arc out (partly for speed) and when I collate them I'll refresh the balloons with something better. There was something else I was going to update when they were all put together but I'll have to go through the comments on the other ones to remember.

I've got that book floating around here btw.

I never actually saw Abe reacting to Fish-man, it's actually more the opposite and then he isn't even reacting to him by the end because he's lost interest but it would work the other way too I suspect and slightly change the tone of the situation.

Drop shadow is stock standard fireworks and will be fixed in post :P
