One of the hardest parts of doing my illustration thing some days is finding inspiration to put pencil to paper.  I was having a great time doing scribbles for the Lunch Doodle theme over on Twitter.

It is my hope that the new muse for me is illustrating covers of film posters, it’s been something that I’ve toyed with for a couple of months but I’ve just been looking for the first one to kick start the whole theme.

So I saw Sherlock Holmes the other night and whilst I don’t think it is an inspired poster by any stretch, it was a very cool film and it was the first poster I saw when I went looking for something to start with.

For some reason The Last Starfighter has been a poster that’s been tossed around more than once in my head so I might be doing that one soon.

So I’ll open it up to the floor for suggestions!
