oh shit! this ep. isn't as good as i thought it was since it really must have went over my head.

I didn't realise that it actually resolved itself and was waiting for the second part in this week's ep. Then this week is totally unrelated and i'm thinking "d'oh, wtf!?"

I can't really be bothered to go back and rewatch it atm but would appreciate if someone could give me a recap on the ep.

bloody time travel. all those paradoxes get confusing and so on and so forth.

She doesn't 'really' die but it was a pleasant experience whilst it lasted :)

You should devote that time to the new V or The Prisoner instead of getting all that healthy air and spending time with your loved ones!!

Actually I need to check out City of Heroes :)

Wait, what? Chloe died? I might start watching this show again… then again, they had their chance and lost me as a viewer.

Anyhow, just thought I'd let you all know, that having an extra hour – 45 minutes, actually, what with all the commercials – in my life has actually improved… well, everything.

I have more time for physical excercise, more time to make love to my girlfriend and I've also started playing City of Heroes. All in all, SG:U is barely a memory.

This is the promise of this show that was hinted at the very beginning, episodes that are this good. The tie back to the solar flare was a really nice touch and yeah, the first lush jungle they go to and it is full chest-bursting aliens!!!

I love that Greer keeps quoting bands from the 80s/90s – Bon Jovi the other week and now Guns N Roses with his “Welcome to the jungle” line :D

LOL everyone loves Chloe dying!!!

I agree I think they handled time travel really well and it felt quite science fiction rather than action scifi.

I'm really loving Greer of all people at the moment and Rush which also surprises me.

I'm just so happy they didn't do a hint at the end that Rush knew the planet had evil aliens on it because he knows everything and he's an arse :D

The end was good, I found myself thinking oh I wanted to see the final universe but then realised that it had been done to death in Star Trek and SG1 so happy they ended it like Stephen King short story (the Mist etc.)

I was completely sucked in and when she died I was actually beside myself I was so impressed by such a strong move.

For the smallest second though I thought the bugs from Stargate Atlantis were there!

If they can give me an equally or nearly as good an episode next week that will save the show for me.

I mean..they did bring the solarflare back into a story. I liked the aliens..and like I tweeted..well we got our lush jungle haha.
As for the aliens..for a moment there I thought we were dealing with Goa'ulds :P

Agreed. This was actually much better than most time loop stories, if only because they don't break out a blackboard and draw splitting lines (a la Back to the Future) to explain things to the audience.

I also have to admit to a little not-so-secret happiness both times Chloe bought the farm. And I liked that we didn't see the loop where they get it right, as that would have been relatively boring.

I thought it was awesome, but I also realized that I'm a bad person, I actually cheered when Chloe died. ;) Afterwards however I felt so much better when it turned out she was still alive, so I'm really confused at the moment :P
Also, the aliens !!! oh yeah baby, chewing up on the insides of the crew… god that was so much fun :)
I think the writers wanted us on the verge of desperation before hitting us with something good :)
