• Dark Knight's various poster campaigns were absolutely innovative..the whole Vote for Harvey Dent, and Why So Serious.

The Jurassic Park symbol was very iconic in its days.

And Cloverfield. The whole mystique as to what took away the statue's head off was good.

But I have to agree with you on ID4. It's a silly movie, but I love it, every single time I watch it.

Also ID4 reminds me of the recent District 9 posters with effin prawns :)
  • As I've mentioned to you before, mine is The Colour Purple. It's so simple, the purple wash is a beautiful colour, yet it captures emotion perfectly.

I also really like the Ghostbusters poster - it's so iconic. ET was pretty awesome as well.

    "Why so serious?"

The "Why so serious?" poster won 2008 Best Poster Winner at IMP Awards and rightly so, as much as I love everything to do with Iron Man, the Joker poster is almost perfect.
  • SK
I never knew it won some awards! I just thought it was awesome.

The original Silence of The Lambs poster, with the death's head skull, etc.
  • Lee
I didn't realise that it is Jodie Foster on the Silence of the Lambs poster LOL - it never really dawned on me until a couple of years ago!

    Interesting (?) fact from Wikipedia:

In 2006 at the Key Art Awards, the original poster for The Silence of the Lambs was named best film poster "of the past 35 years".
