Iron Man Mark VII - markers Lee Sargent

I thought it might be ironic showing Iron Man on a don’t do drugs poster.  I always felt that the red and silver armour was the most corporate stooge of any of the other armours, designed specifically to look flashy and appealing.  Even though I love the armour I still feel it is probably the one that dates the most.

To make this the Diptych of Irony, you totally have to do a Tokyo billboard with Tony Stark selling Suntori Scotch.

Can Iron Man be a corporate stooge if he is, in fact, the head of a corporation?

LOL I can picture that shot in my head – we haven’t had a sans armour illustration yet so I think that’s definitely on the list.

I think if we were talking inappropriate billboards surely Hank Pym speaking out about domestic violence might be up there :)

Remember too during the ‘silver centurion’ stage no one knew that Stark was Iron Man – so stooge he is :)
