I know that I’ve posted this before but the original post was lost in the great blog move of 2009 and since I was revisiting the Goodies and Baddies collection I thought I would share this with those who hadn’t seen it before.
Now I didn’t know this at the time but apparently you guys get stuck in my head more than I would’ve given you credit for because I had no idea that I was channeling our very own Arjan when drawing the firebug Kindle.
He has promised a photo in that exact pose and if he does some other evil shots I’ll happily produce some more ‘inspired’ Kindle pieces. But I can’t say this enough, I really didn’t have him in mind when originally drawing the character, it was only afterwards when it was bugging me why Kindle looked so familiar and I was worried I’d just recreated an existing character sub-consiously that I realised that he was the fiery image of Arjan.
Don’t worry I don’t think I’ve slipped anyone else into one of the characters although every once and a while this photo of Dan makes me want to do a comic book cover for him:

I tried to take the photo just now..but of course *figures..* my battery pack was low, which just means I’m going to take the pic darn early in the morning. I might even have a go at some of the other cards or some freestyling because I can’t let myself be beat by some British Wolverine with butterknives.
Arjan´s last blog ..Good and bad news
I have had ‘recharging batteries on my to-do list for months and I have exhausted ALL rechargeable batteries in the house.
it’s a battery pack which is recharged in 1,5 hours..but when I wánted to make the photo..the sun was already setting.
At 7 am *around now* the shades have a double function, sending the photo tonight, I think I managed to get a pretty decent one.
