You know, I’ve never seen Double Dragon… I don’t think I’ve seen one second of it on television… how is that for luck ;)

Re: Mark Hamill. Who do you believe more as an ace star fighter pilot… him or Freddie Prinze Jr. That’s what I meant… he has a certain cache in the genre rather than saying he was a great actor. It was good casting.

With Movie-based games, it is almost easier to pick out the few that were good rather than list the ones that were horrible.

Like I say you can enjoy Double Dragon for what it is, it is surprisingly funny (intentionally too I hope).

LOL I’d believe Baxter my dog over FPJ as an ace pilot :P

Well there’s your challenge – guest post the top five or ten movie tie in games :)

  2. Jeff says:

I’ll go with that challenge for Matt. I’d like to hear it.

I enjoyed Mortal Kombat. Rather silly, but it’s strength, as you mentioned, was just getting down to the fighting.

Off the top of my head, though, I can’t think of a GOOD video game movie. In fact, even after some consideration I’m having a tough time. It may take actual research to come up with one (I mean, there has to be ONE, doesn’t there?).

I’m kind of stumped actually, there has to be a really good one out there somewhere!?! I shall devote more thought to the subject.
