I think we had the 'Hero' turtles overhere too..
Next to (as mentioned in the other post) watching TMH/NT on tape this week, I'll have to check out waterworld again too. I think I've seen it like 8 times, so there must be something positve in there.

I hadn't encountered the 'hero' turtles before now, I believe that it was quite a few countries that did it (they may have redistributed through the UK) but here in Australia we have our ninja problems under control and were able to handle the word :)

There were two segments I didn't send for this. One was about Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force being a parody of Krang and the second was about the Nintendo game Battletoads, which was a ripoff/cash-in on the TMNT craze... and learning about the Frank Miller thing from Dan's condensing of the development cycle for the original comic book, it means that both of those things had their genesis one further step back.

Could you fix my link (the actual link I mean, not the name of my blog) so I can get my hate mail... because you've seen my comments... no one is an ass to me there.

And BTW, nice Abe Simpson reference at the beginning.

I must admit I didn't know that about TMNT either that it was a parody, it makes sense I guess (I haven't read Ronin - but shall rectify that during the week - the cover art is certainly a give away).

I'd forgotten about Battletoads which I actually had on the SuperNES and I am reasonably certain they had a brief cartoon out too.

Thank you sir for picking up one of my only Abe lines that I enjoy, but you didn't share the origins of the feud between you and Mr Feldman?
