I finished the Jill Skye picture that I was working on, I’m still at the stage where I’m just figuring out if I can actually do anything with the character, I think that I might be able to put something together featuring her.
I’ve kind of worked out what she does for a living and I have a rough idea of her background. There’s a story featuring zombies, ice hockey masks and rare Ritchie Rich comic books (does anyone know by chance what the most expensive Richie Rich comic book is?) that I’m toying with, I just need to flesh it out completely and then storyboard it.
I really like it, but I can’t decide if I miss a sky or not..
If I did one it would have to be digital because it’s too much white space for the markers.
I think a sky would detract. Maybe some dark blue at the top quickly faded to white.

Actually if I were to put in a sky background it would be the red and orange tones of the morning (Jill likes to do her blowing up before breakfast)
Is that dynamite in her bag?
LOL yes, yes it is dynamite, fireworks don’t get much more illegal
(well when it’s being used for fireworks sake at least)

LOL -- I believe the very first comic went for a few thousand on eBay a couple of months back -- I might have to make up a fictional misprint issue.
I’ve got it! The misprint is that the cover of an American issue, which often features a dollar sign, was printed with the *gasp* Australian dollar symbol!
Or is that too stupid and Simpsons-esqe?

Zombies…. hmmm…. she doesn’t strike me as zombie-related, but it’s your character, your world. I’ll get used to it. I still like the look.
