Well the character concept illustration I shared the other day has been stuck in my head, so much so that I’ve had to give her a real name (Adventure Girl is a registered trademark btw). And thus the character has been given the name Jill Skye.
I’m leaving a lot of Jill’s backstory up in the air at present but I have been working on a pinup of her called ‘Illegal Fireworks’. Here are the pencils and I’ll post the inks in the coming days. I have also started plotting out a comic book story for her and you may actually see some pages in the coming months.

Looking forward to seeing more of her.
she needs a sidekick though, what about a anthropomorphic dog?
Dan´s last blog ..A bit of a geek out
She’s a loner.
Maybe a partner dressed up like a bug, a blue bug?
…looking to see more of her?..Lee’s busy making a pinup, language is a strange thing sometimes..;)
I think Jill Skye is a better name than adventure girl anyway.
oh and you’re tagcloud thing is awesome.
Not so good when one doesn’t have Flash installed
But I think it is nifty.
It is stunning isn’t it!
what plugin is it Lee?
Dan´s last blog ..A bit of a geek out
It is WP-Cumulus – check out the plugin site: http://www.roytanck.com/2008/03/15/wp-cumulus-released
I was actually surprised to see someone registering that name – she actually has the registered character ® after her name – I mean sheesh!
So is she a super-thief, or a super-hero? You could go either way with this shot.
Looking forward to more.

I think that’s what is keeping my interest in the character right now – there are so many possibilities!
oooo! Comics? Awesome! That will be worth waiting for.
May I recommend Blambot.com for all of your dialog and decorative font needs? (lots of great free fonts. I see you using “Indie Star” for dialog, myself).

Cheers, Blambot and I are good friends
Although I don’t think I’ve downloaded Indie Star – I’ll go check it out.
I should have guess you knew about blambot, but it’s too good a resource to take the risk in assuming.
I bought my first font through them back in April. I figured I’d been mooching off their free stuff for so long. I got “Silver Age”. Very nice font!
