• who are you kidding, you are running around with it shooting at imaginary Romulans etc.
It should at least weigh a bit..crappy plastic is senseless.

What I do in the privacy of my own home is my business :P
  • You can close your office door and imagine anything you want !!!!

I was using my flip phone as a communicator the other night. Had my girlfriend in stitches.

It took me forever to get an actual flip phone to secretly emulate Kirk, unfortunately it was a Motorola Razor and wasn't particularly good.

I was surprised to see the Nokia in Star Trek over the iPhone :)
  • bah. Phasers. Get yourself a Manmelter 3600 ZX: http://www.wetanz.com/holics/index.php?itemid=1...

My phaser/tricorder/communicator set was played with to destruction before 1980 ;)

I'm mighty partial to the "Moses Brothers Self-Defense Engine Frontier Model B" gun that sits on my desk actually.
  • It does sound like a stupid, but typical, corporate move to go with the cheapest toys in all senses of the word. I don't mind them saving some money, but don't skimp on the quality!

I need me some quality phasers!

We all love us some quality phasers!

They respected everything in the film itself but then went cheap with the merchandise!

Remind me to tell you about the Star Trek Warp Balls found in 1 in 2 Sultana Bran packs!
  • you know I thought exactly the same thing when I saw it in Forbidden Plantet (FP) here in London. Looks Cheap. Not Overly fussed with they 'flipping' style either to be honest.

I had a great time playi....err.. examining , yes Examining my next gen Tricorder the other day. I wonder whatever happend to my next gen Type II phaser (TV Remote)...

    The hunt is on.....

Hi David, it feels cheap too, very light plastic and the tricorder and communicator weren't much better although to be fair the communicator is the best of the lot but not enough to make me part with cash.

The Enterprise didn't impress me at all, you can't see the ship in the box and it is really light - they really seem aimed at smaller children.
  • This is relevant to my interests.
